Tim Walker

Us Fashion Communication students have been given the task to envisage and write a brief for a stylist and photographer based on a particular era in fashion.

Immediately I knew I would take on the 40's. Which incidently Tim Walker had based his recent photoshoot in British Vogue upon. The shoot is surreal and has a strong sense of fun and unrestrained fantasy..."turning funny daydreams into funny photographs, adding that he lives much of the time in an imaginary world, a world rooted in real-life and memory, specifically the British countryside of his childhood"

There is a motif throughtout his photography of taking elements from the outdoors and poutting them into an indoor scene. Here is some of his photography...
