Chanel Advert

Last night I saw Coco Before Chanel, and was in total awe.
The film introduced me not only into more undertsanding of Gabrielle Coco the woman, but the way in which her fashion empire holds true to its roots. Chanel adverts have always exuded simplicity, some of which I felt were on the wrong side of simple.

The latest adverts for Chanel continue the theme of heritage - an ode to Coco herself. Set in a vast open field, akin to the fields that Coco lived amongst in France, I now understand the concept of the advertisements and the lineage they have with Coco's life, her innovations in dress which changed the perception of how woman can and should dress.
